Christopher Laing Foundation

Through support of innovative programs and community initiatives, the Christopher Laing Foundation actively engages in the reconstruction of communities in Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire following the Covid-19 pandemic. With a holistic approach that encompasses youth and education, homelessness, disabilities, and environmental conservation work, the foundation is dedicated to addressing multifaceted challenges within these regions.

Established with a mission to provide comprehensive care and resources to those in need, the foundation embodies the legacy of Sir John Laing (1879-1978), a devout Christian and founder of the international construction company that bears his name. Today, the giving of the Christopher Laing Foundation and the wider Laing Family Charitable Trusts, reflect the values espoused by Sir John and seeks to build on Sir John’s example of Christian philanthropy.
